The incidents from his life, including his encounters with God, his quest for knowledge, and his resolution of complex cases, showcase his exceptional wisdom and divine guidance.

The mystery surrounding Prophet Moses' (AS) passing and his enduring legacy beautifully encapsulates his timeless influence as a beacon of guidance for humanity.

Behind the Curtain - Satan’s Activities and the Significance of Prophet Moses (AS)

Satan, along with his followers from among the Jinns and humans, was not alone in his efforts to lead people astray. He had a network of individuals and entities working under his command. While Satan's children and some Jinns form other tribes had limited lifespans, Satan himself had been granted an exception by God, allowing him to exist until the end of time.

In the previous articles, we learned that Satan had been busy building and strengthening his network. This network, well-organized and experienced, was vigilant and constantly gathering data on humans, particularly the Israelites, then the champions of monotheism.

Satan's strategy involved deploying his followers to approach individuals, gaining their trust by initially promoting seemingly good and beneficial actions. Once trust was established, they would then lead them astray and away from the path of righteousness.

Recognizing the potential of the Israelites and his ability to influence them, Satan sought to exploit their natural instincts and divert them from the teachings of Prophet Moses (AS).

Holy Book Torah and Scrolls of Moses (AS)

Prophet Moses (AS) held a significant role as the Vicegerent of God on Earth during his prophethood. He was not only a spiritual leader but also a founder of a civilized society, a legislator of canonical laws, and an organizer of religious, social, and secular affairs.

He received divine revelations, including the Ten Commandments, which were initially inscribed on a slab. Additionally, God revealed the holy book Torah, which contained laws and Divine knowledge applicable to the Israelites and their descendants.

However, the original Scrolls written by Prophet Moses (AS) himself, if they ever existed, have been lost. The Torah, as it is known today, is a compilation of five books written from memory by various authors centuries after Prophet Moses (AS). These books are known as Bereshit, Shemot, Vayikra, Bamidbar, and Devarim in Hebrew, and they form the core of the Jewish Bible and the First Testament of the Christian Bible.

These books are commonly known by their English names: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. It is important to note that the Talmud is a separate book, containing oral traditions and commentaries by rabbis, and should not be confused with the Holy Book Torah that was revealed on Moses (AS) By God.

Over the centuries, interpretations and amendments were made to the texts, leading to various versions and translations of the Torah. While the core concept of monotheism remained intact, other aspects, such as laws and regulations, underwent alterations.

Despite being blessed with guidance and sustenance, the majority of the Israelites were hesitant to embark on the conquest of the promised land. Their tribal disputes and lack of unity hindered their progress, leading to forty years of wandering in the Sinai Peninsula.

Prophet Moses (AS) played a pivotal role in molding a community that embodied the values of monotheism and moral uprightness. Despite the challenges, he remained committed to their spiritual and moral development.

The custodians of the Torah, however, failed to preserve the original texts. Amendments and interpretations were made, often serving the interests of kings, governors, and influential figures. This practice persisted for over a millennium, ultimately contributing to the diverse interpretations and versions of the Torah we have today.

In summary, while the Torah contains foundational divine guidance, its journey through history has been marked by interpretations, revisions, and sometimes, manipulation for various interests.
