The Divine Awareness: Finding Meaning and Purpose

Introduction

In our spiritual quest for self-awareness and enlightenment, the concept of a Divine presence holds immense significance. This journey of self-discovery is intrinsically linked to the continuous process of recognizing and acknowledging the existence of a Supreme Being - the True God, the Creator, the Sustainer, the Ultimate Truth. This journey involves not only recognizing the existence of a True God but also delving into the Attributes and Qualities associated with this Divine entity.

A Global Perspective:

Having traversed through diverse transcultural societies worldwide over the span of decades, I have come to witness a deeply personal connection to God in almost every individual I encountered. This revelation spurred my curiosity to delve into the attributes, empowerment, and other divine qualities attributed to the various gods defined by their respective scholars and scriptures. Yet, I found no comparison to Allah. It is one of the reasons that I firmly believe in Allah, the Ultimate Truth; a belief that resonates with my senses, knowledge, intelligence, intuition, intellect, judgment, and wisdom.

The Profound Connection:

The more I acquaint myself with His Attributes, the deeper I find myself immersed in the boundless love of the Divine. It is the science of spirituality that starts after the physical laws reach to its end; and, deals with the metaphorical and metaphysical realities. The more awareness I discover about myself and the more I explore Nature, His creations on the Earth and the Universe, the higher I become an admirer of Him.

I remain extremely thankful that He has created me among Humans, the best of His creation with high potential to become His vicegerent on Earth and His guest for His eternal companionship hereafter. It is a blessed connection that transcends the boundaries of human understanding, a union that provides solace and purpose in our earthly existence.

Respecting Individual Beliefs:

Allow me to clarify that Musafir is not a platform founded for forcing readers to adopt Allah as their Divine entity. Rather, I am sharing my inner sentiments after an extensive exploration that led me to the conclusion that Allah stands as the sole entity that lays claim to the skies, the earth, and everything that encompasses them. Your beliefs remain entirely your personal affair, and I respect that.

However, I take immense pride in my God that I selected with free will after extensive search and found His incomparable and boundless Attributes that no other god has any idea about or even come close to those in comparison. His Knowledge, His Power, His Creation, His Greatness, His Uniqueness, His Wisdom and His lot more Attributes that are beyond human comprehension.

Why Islamic Spirituality?

Many spiritual entities and institutes offer guidance today, through practices such as mindfulness, yoga, mantras, chakras, meditation, and self-awareness. These revered entities prove to be highly effective, offering spiritual enrichment that holds considerable value in our pursuit of a few aspects of worldly desires. What sets Islamic spirituality apart is the strengthening of the soul, the integral part of the human, connecting soul with Allah, with a promise of reaping not only all aspects of worldly rewards, but eternal benefits. The smart gain is here and hereafter.

Furthermore, it bestows upon us the invaluable gift of self-satisfaction, allowing us to traverse this journey of life without regrets of the past and fear for the future. Thus, we enjoy every moment of our precious life with profound inner satisfaction in a peaceful, harmonious and tranquil way.

Invitation to Discovery:

To all seekers of self-awareness, divine-awareness, and profound spiritual growth, I extend an invitation to embark on a journey of discovery. Exercise your knowledge and wisdom with free will in selecting your God, for this choice significantly impacts your life in this world and the hereafter. If you have not yet explored the Quran, I implore you to at least peruse a translation in your own language, sourced from accredited and reliable authorities. Consider it as God's discourse to humanity.

We have all encountered great leaders and orators, addressing their nations, societies, or communities. They speak with varying tones, addressing different segments of their audience. In the Quran, Allah addresses us, imparting His divine knowledge and wisdom with an abundance of love, care, and affection, in an unaltered and uncorrupted original text. No religion or culture, save Islam, can lay claim to offering their Holy Book with expert authority, assuring that every word is the unadulterated expression of God.

Quran is the final holy book, Allah revealed to His last and the final prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in 22 years, over 1400 years ago. The Quran, at the very least, deserves a glance to gain insight into ‘the way of life’ offered to humans.

In this course of our spiritual journey, let’s get introduced to ‘Who’ is saying before we know about ‘What’ is His Book, the Quran, as explained and taught by prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

This test revolves around four fundamental attributes:

  1. Oneness and Indivisibility: The True God is singular and indivisible, transcending any form of multiplicity or division.
  2. The Sustainer for All Beings: This divine entity commands as the Sustainer, providing essential support and nurturing for all creation.
  3. Beyond Offspring and Birth: The True God neither begets nor is begotten, standing apart from the cycle of birth and progeny.
  4. Incomparable Magnitude: There exists no equivalent or likeness to this Divine Being, affirming His unique and unparalleled status.

These four touchstones serve as a litmus test, enabling a discerning exploration of various conceptions of the divine and ultimately leading to the identification of the One True God. This rigorous evaluation ensures a comprehensive and profound understanding of the essence of the Divine across diverse belief systems.
